Duba Plains Concession

The Duba Plains Concession (NG23) is a private wildlife concession located in the far northern Okavango Delta of Botswana. Covering approximately 33,000 hectares (330 km²), it is one of the Delta's most exclusive safari areas and is renowned for its predator-prey interactions, particularly between lions and large buffalo herds.

The area gained worldwide recognition through wildlife documentaries by conservationists and filmmakers Dereck Joubert and Beverly Joubert, who documented the famous lion-versus-buffalo encounters in the concession.
